Australia’s Matildas Head to Brazil for the Women’s World Cup 2027

The FIFA Women's World Cup 2027 is a tournament unlike any that has come before it. For the first time in history the world's greatest women's football event heads to South America, with Brazil playing host across eight cities from 24th June to 25th July 2027. It's a genuinely historic occasion and the CommBank Matildas will be right in the thick of it.

Australia has already secured their place in Brazil, becoming the first nation in the world to qualify for the 2027 Women's World Cup. The Matildas booked their spot with a 2-1 win over Korea DPR at the AFC Women's Asian Cup 2026, a result that had fans dreaming of what's to come. With Sam Kerr, Mary Fowler and Caitlin Foord among the names who could be pulling on the green and gold in Brazil, the excitement is building.

Back in 2023, The Matildas captured the hearts of an entire nation during their home World Cup campaign, reaching the semi-finals in front of packed stadiums and a record-breaking television audience. The wave of support that followed that team was something special and Brazil 2027 is the chance to be part of the next chapter.

This is the 10th edition of the FIFA Women's World Cup, featuring 32 teams and 64 matches across a month of world-class football. With the iconic Maracanã Stadium in Rio de Janeiro set to host the final, the stage is truly set for something memorable.

When is the FIFA Women's World Cup 2027™?
The FIFA Women's World Cup 2027™ runs from 24 June to 25 July 2027 in Brazil.
Where is the FIFA Women's World Cup 2027™ being held?
The tournament will be hosted by Brazil across eight cities: Rio de Janeiro, São Paulo, Belo Horizonte, Brasília, Fortaleza, Porto Alegre, Recife and Salvador. It is the first FIFA Women's World Cup ever held in South America.
Have the Matildas qualified for the FIFA Women's World Cup 2027™?
Yes! Australia was the first team in the world to qualify for Brazil 2027. The Matildas secured their place with a 2-1 win over Korea DPR at the Women's Asian Cup in March 2026, confirming their spot in what will be their ninth consecutive Women's World Cup.
When will I know the exact cities and match schedule?
The official FIFA Women's World Cup 2027™ draw is expected in mid-December 2026. Once released, we will finalise the Matildas' group stage cities and issue updated itineraries within 2–3 weeks. All current itineraries are indicative and based on the most likely host city routing.
Will packages include FIFA Women's World Cup 2027™ match tickets?
FIFA is yet to release formal guidance on how match ticketing will be structured for the tournament. Based on prior tournaments, official game tickets are purchased directly through FIFA and will not be included in our packages. We'll keep you updated as soon as more information becomes available, so you have the best possible chance of securing them.

What does the $250 deposit secure?
Your $250 per person deposit secures your priority placement on the tour ahead of general release. It does not confirm a specific itinerary, match city, or room allocation — those are confirmed once the FIFA draw is released in December 2026. Your deposit is fully refundable* if you choose not to proceed after reviewing the final package.
Is my deposit refundable?
Yes, fully refundable*. Once the FIFA Women's World Cup 2027™ draw is released (expected mid-December 2026), we will issue your finalised itinerary and pricing. You will have 14 days to review and confirm. If you choose not to proceed within this 14 day period, your full deposit per person is returned. No fees, no questions asked.
Do you have an idea of how much the tour will cost?
With the full tournament schedule and routing still to be confirmed, we're not in a position to share indicative pricing just yet. What we can promise is that we're working hard behind the scenes to put together an affordable tour that works for as many travellers as possible, and we'll share pricing details as soon as we're able to.
Are international flights included?
International flights between Australia and Brazil are not included in the land package price. However, the first 100 people to book on the 3-Game package will receive a $400 per person international flight voucher, applied at the time of final booking confirmation against your Australia-Brazil return flights booked through us.*

Yes. Keith Prowse Travel is the only Football Australia endorsed fan travel program for the FIFA Women's World Cup 2027™. We are the official and only authorised way to travel with the Matildas to Brazil.
What stage of the tournament will the Official Fan Tour cover?
The Official Fan Tour will primarily cover the Group Stage, with both 2-game and 3-game packages available. If you'd like to keep the journey going beyond the Group Stage, we'll also have options available for the later stages of the tournament.
Who is allowed to join the Official Matildas Fan Travel Group?
Our packages are designed for fans of all ages and group sizes. Children are more than welcome to join with a responsible parent or guardian. More information on family packages will be available in due course.
Can families travel together?
Absolutely, families are very welcome! A family bundle is available for 2 adults and up to 2 children under 15, with a group deposit of $750. Please enquire for full family bundle details.
What options are available for solo travellers?
Solo travellers will have the choice of being paired with another solo traveller or paying a single supplement for their own room. We'll be sharing more details on this in the months ahead.
