Additional Information

Where is the United States Grand Prix held?

+

The United States Grand Prix takes place at the Circuit of The Americas (COTA) in Austin, Texas. The purpose-built F1 venue sits about 15 miles (24 km) southeast of downtown at 9201 Circuit of The Americas Blvd. The site includes the Grand Plaza, a 251-foot observation tower, and multiple fan zones, so race week feels like a motorsport festival.

What is the best way to get to the Circuit of the Americas track?

+

Use COTA’s official Park & Ride shuttles from designated city hubs; they run frequently and drop you by the Grand Plaza. Taxis and rideshares (Uber) are routed to a dedicated lot with an internal tram for the last leg.

If you’re travelling with Keith Prowse Travel, we’ll advise the best gate and timings for your seats and can arrange private transfers on request.

When is the United States Grand Prix 2026?

+

The US Grand Prix runs from 22nd to 25th October 2026.

It is a three-day event: Friday practice, Saturday qualifying (and Sprint if scheduled), and the Grand Prix on Sunday. Exact session times are confirmed closer to race week. We’ll keep your plan updated as the timetable locks.

How far is COTA from Austin?

+

COTA is roughly 30–40 minutes from downtown Austin. Keith Prowse Travel places guests in centrally located 4-star hotels with smooth access to shuttle pick-ups

What can I bring into the US Grand Prix circuit?

+

Expect a clear-bag style policy and walk-through screening. Small clutches and clear totes within posted size limits are typically allowed; hard coolers and large backpacks are not. We’ll send the current “what you can/can’t bring” list and your best entry gate in the lead-up.

What’s the weather like in October and what should I pack?

+

Warm days and plenty of sun. Pack light layers, a cap, sunscreen and comfortable shoes for COTA’s hills and long concourses. A compact rain jacket is handy if a shower rolls through.

Are there concerts or off-track events at the US Grand Prix?

+

Yes! COTA usually pairs the race with major evening shows and fan-zone entertainment.
