The TCS New York City Marathon is a 26.2-mile race held on the first Sunday in November that threads through all five boroughs and draws one of the world’s largest fields. The five-borough course begins inside Fort Wadsworth on Staten Island, crosses the Verrazzano-Narrows Bridge into Brooklyn, moves through Queens, enters Manhattan over the Queensboro Bridge, briefly visits the Bronx, then returns to Manhattan for a Central Park finish near West 67th Street by Tavern on the Green. The bridges and the rolling final miles in the park add late-race challenge.

All runners collect their bib and race materials at the TCS New York City Marathon Expo. You will be asked to reserve a pickup time slot during race-week planning to keep lines moving. The Expo runs in the days before the race and is an ideal place to make any last-minute gear purchases.

Race day brings extensive street closures across all five boroughs, especially around the final miles in and around Central Park. Subways are the most reliable way for supporters to move between viewing points. Allow extra time for station crowds and security screening near the park. NYRR and local media publish updated closure maps and travel advice in the lead-up to the event.

Early November usually brings cool, crisp conditions well suited to distance running. Pack light layers you can shed at the start, a hat and gloves for the wait in the Start Village, and comfortable layers for the post-race walk out of Central Park. Spectators should dress warmly and wear supportive shoes to move between viewing points efficiently.

Flights are not included in our packages unless specifically mentioned in the product details. Flights can be added to any of our experiences and this can be arranged through our travel consultants.

In general, our event package prices are shown on a per person twin or double share room basis, unless otherwise specified. Please note a single occupancy surcharge applies for solo passengers.

The TCS New York City Marathon is in high demand and sells out quickly. We recommend securing your place as early as possible to avoid missing out.

Once your payment has been processed, you will receive a booking confirmation with your reservation number. A detailed travel itinerary will be emailed approximately 2-3 weeks before your event.

Our payment terms vary depending on the event, however our standard payment terms is typically a 50% upfront deposit, with the remaining 50% balance due 3 months before the event. If the event is less than 3 months away, the price must be paid in full.
