What time do the sessions start?

The Roland-Garros tournament is split into two ticketed sessions for the show courts. A full order of play will be available the night before each day’s play on the official Roland-Garros app and rolandgarros.com

Day Session

For Day Session ticketholders, gates open at 10am with the first matches beginning on the outside courts at 11am.

Night Session

For Night Session ticketholders, gates open at 6:30pm with the match commencing after 8:15pm.

What are the main courts at Roland Garros?

Stade Roland Garros is a world-renowned tennis complex featuring 3 large-capacity stadiums and over 17 outdoor courts.

Court Philippe-Chatrier

Court Philippe-Chatrier is the main show court of Roland Garros and seats approximately 15,000 spectators. This is an exclusively ticketed arena and cannot be accessed with a Ground Pass. It has a retractable roof allowing uninterrupted play in all weather conditions.

Court Suzanne-Lenglen

Court Suzanne-Lenglen is the other main show court at Roland-Garros and seats approximately 10,000 spectators. This is an exclusively ticketed arena and cannot be accessed with a Ground Pass. It has a retractable roof allowing uninterrupted play in all weather conditions.

Court Simonne-Mathieu

Court Simonne-Mathieu is the smaller of the large-capacity stadiums at Roland Garros and seats approximately 5,000 spectators. The lower sections of this arena is ticketed arena, however there are general admission tickets that Grounds Pass holders can access on the Upper Level. It does not have a retractable roof and delays may occur due to weather conditions.

What is the best way to travel to Roland Garros?

All visitors to Roland Garros must pass through one of the three Mandatory Checkpoints (PPO) to access the secure perimeter and the Stade Roland Garros entrances. While you can enter via any of the checkpoints, we recommend the following for convenience, based on the hospitality suites.

Le Pavillon Guests

Enter via PPO Boulogne and proceed to the VIP entrance at Gate 20.

Metro

Line 10 – Station Boulogne Jean-Jaurès (11 minutes walk to PPO Boulogne)

Private or Shared Transfers

We can assist with one-way transfers to Roland-Garros which will ensure a safe and timely arrival to the grounds in the allocated drop off areas. Please contact us for more information.

Taxi & Ride-Sharing Services

The daily order of play is only released the evening prior however, which means we cannot guarantee which players will appear in a particular session at the time of booking.

Ticket inclusions vary based the Hospitality option selected. All packages include a first category ticket for Philippe-Chatrier Court.

What surface is Roland-Garros played on?

+

Roland-Garros is the only Grand Slam played on a red clay surface. These courts are built with five layers, totalling about 80cm in depth. At the base lies a foundation of stones, followed by crushed gravel, clinker (coal residue), and crushed white limestone. The final top layer consists of a thin coating of crushed red brick dust, which gives the courts their iconic colour.

What makes the Roland-Garros unique?

Roland-Garros, also known as the French Open, is the second Grand Slam of the tennis season and takes place in Paris, France from late May to early June. It is the only slam played on red clay, a surface which slows the ball and produces extended rallies, resulting in a physically demanding game. Are flights included in the French Open package?

Flights are not included in our packages unless specifically mentioned in the product details. Flights can be added to any of our experiences and this can be arranged through our travel consultants.

Is the package price per person or per room?

In general, our package prices are shown on a per person twin or double share room basis, unless otherwise specified. Please note a single occupancy surcharge applies for solo passengers.

Can I alter the package and see more tennis action?

Many of our package elements can be customised to suit your requirements. This includes accommodation options, ticket type, tennis sessions, and additional experiences and inclusions, subject to availability. When will I receive my Roland-Garros tickets and documentation?

Once your payment has been processed, you will receive a booking confirmation with your reservation number. A detailed travel itinerary will be emailed approximately 2-3 weeks before your event.

Hospitality tickets for Roland-Garros are PDF e-tickets that can be either printed or presented at the gate on a smartphone. These will be emailed to you at least 48hrs prior to the event. The hostess at the reception desk of your hospitality area will give you your pass ticket to the court.

Are there payment plans available?

Our payment terms vary depending on the event, however our standard payment terms is typically a 50% upfront deposit, with the remaining 50% balance due 3 months before the event. If the event is less than 3 months away, the price must be paid in full.
